When designing a new page, banner or logo do you get stuck for inspiration on colours? It’s easy to fall into the trap of designing all the time with the same colour pallette that feels safe.
Trying new colours in your designs can often spark other creative ideas so try something new and you might be suprised at how it helps in all aspects of your creative work.
Here are some ideas that I have grouped together as examples.

Thank GOD for color palettes for us color blind folk. It would be extremely redundant to take eyedroppers back and forth across workspaces!

Hi David, good note, came at the right time as I am currently deciding on colours for my logo… and my inspiration is slow! My designer is steering me blue (corporate, banking, etc) and I want green (growth, new ventures, etc). Am I spending too much time thinking about it? Any advice? Thanks
Hi Janine, sorry this comment only just surfaced! I am guessing I may be too late here so I apologise.
I would say how long you spend on your logo depends on your business. Having a professional logo is important regardless but too many people spend in my opinion too much effort and money on a logo because its a fun/interesting job and keeps them form having to attend to the perhaps more pressing tasks of actually getting sales (Not saying this is what your’re doing by the way!)
It’s easy to think too much about it and logos can be changed, so if your starting out or designing a logo for a small/new business I would suggest going with what you feel is professional and relates to your business, after that put all your effort back into product/sales. Some of the biggest brands out there have the simplest logos ever created.
